Diane Louise Benoit

Diane L. Benoit Resident of Discovery Bay May 17, 1947 - June 28, 2012 Diane Benoit passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Sutter Delta Medical Center after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 64 years old. Diane was born in St. Paul, MN to parents Richard and Grace Coe. The family moved to Antioch, CA in 1956. She graduated from Antioch High School in 1965. Diane met her sole mate and beloved husband Tom in 1964 and they were married May 28, 1965. Their son Aaron was born shortly after in 1966. Tom has since passed away and now Diane and Tom are together once again. Diane started her career in education as a school bus driver in the 1970's for the Byron School District and retired after 30 years as a teacher/cafeteria aide. She touched many during her career and will be missed greatly. Diane is survived by her loving son Aaron of Discovery Bay, CA and mother Grace Coe of Antioch,CA. She also leaves her brothers Micheal Coe of Bethal Island, CA; Jimmy Coe of Antioch, CA and sister Patti Caldwell of Sacramento, CA. Friends and family are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 3:00pm at the Brentwood Funeral Home in Brentwood, CA. In honor of Diane a memorial fund has been set up. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the "Memorial Fund of Diane L Benoit" at any local Bank of the West branch.
