Freda Kennedy Resident of Oakley Aug. 5, 1920 - Nov. 19, 2011 Freda Kennedy passed away at the age of 91 at her home in Oakley. She leaves behind her loving husband, Hoover of 73 years. She was the beloved mother of Gerald Kennedy of Weimar, Derrel Kennedy of Lafayette and Barbara Clemons of Brentwood. A devoted grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Gean Brown of Bethel Island. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the Brentwood Funeral Home on Nov. 28, 2011 from 4-8 pm. Graveside services will be at Union Cemetery on Nov. 29, 2011 at 10:00 am. Memorial to follow at Light House Baptist Church in Brentwood.
