

Jennie Mendoza Solórzano 77, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Devoted friend, died December 2nd in Antioch, Ca. Surrounded by her family.
Jennie was born to Rosendo and Rosa Mendoza on August 9th 1934 in Los Angeles, California. She went to school and grew up in Stanton, California; Jennie came from an extremely large family of 11 siblings. As she took her next step in life, becoming a young women she fell in love with her first boyfriend later deciding to enter the Sacred Bond of Holy Matrimony to a Francisco Solórzano.
Shortly after moving to Northern California, the happy newlyweds began their lives becoming the proud parents of four children eventually settling down in Brentwood, California.
Jennie spent many of her early years as a Cannery Worker, but she spent most of her life as a Caregiver throughout Northern California. She loved to cook for her family and friends; she enjoyed sharing stories of her life experiences. Her favorite words were Macy’s Department Store, and Mervyns; fore she also loved shopping as an avid hobby. Jennie was a very loving and giving person with a tremendous heart. Many people who knew her would admire her kindness, and wisdom. She always tried to make herself available to accommodate everyone’s needs!
Jennie is survived by her three daughters and one son.
(Lupe Phillips, Mike Solórzano, Carmen Salcedo, and Joanna Lacy). Also survived by her 16 Grandchildren, and her 18 Great Grandchildren.
