John Torres

John left a legacy that bonds his wife Helen; sons John, Jr. (Nancy) and Ron; daughter Robin (Ringo); and grandchildren Drew Torres (Sandra), Marcy Torres Bell (Matt), Eddie and Monica Moreno (Travis), Ivan Oseguera, and Ashley (Efren) and Amber Torres. John had four great-grandchildren, Alivia, Chase, Ella and Emily.

John is survived by his sister Virginia and predeceased by his parents; brothers Paul and Joe; and sisters Mary Alice, Tillie and Anita. He is also survived by his constant companion, his dog Lemon.

John was born on December 27, 1925, in Pond, California. He lived in Brentwood as a young boy and attended the local schools. John served in the Navy on the USS Shackle during World War II. He married his wife Helen in 1948 and built a house on the 30-acre Torres property on Eureka Avenue.
