Joseph Anthony Dimaggio a long time resident of Contra Costa County passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012. A beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He was employed at Kaiser Gypsum until his retirement.
He also served in the National Army Reserves. He is survived by seven children, Ron Demaggio, Patty Just, Randy Demaggio, Teresa Torchia, Nancy Pittman, Mary Demaggio and John Demaggio. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, bike riding, playing bingo and making people laugh. His generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at two o'clock p.m. at Union Cemetery 11545 Brentwood Boulevard in Brentwood, California.
