David was born on August 15th, 1971 to proud parents Leo David Moss Senior and Carolyn Ann Moss. He was the youngest of four children, sisters Mary Pastor, Shelly McDaniel (Darrell), and Laurie Moss. Their family home on Jersey Island in Oakley, California would lead to his love for fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He later moved to Colorado where he raised his two children Cody David (Katrina McCleary) and Brandy Ashlyn. Proud Grandpa to two granddaughters and two grandsons.
Davey then returned to Brentwood, California to work as a ranch hand. He worked alongside his father as a ranch hand for many years before his move to Colorado. He spent most of his time fishing, hunting and enjoying the outdoors. He was survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends.
