Norma O'Connor

Norma O'Connor passed away December 9, 2014 at the age of 92. Born August 17,1922 in Oakland , CA to Vincenzo and Vincenza Flagiello. Her mother died before she was a year old and she was raised by her 6 sisters and her father. She attended Dewey Elementary and graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland, CA.

She met Charles Francis O'Connor on a blind date during WWII, married January 26, 1947. She was married over 65 years until Chuck's passing in 2012.

Norma and Chuck raised their 8 children in Redwood City and moved to Calistoga upon retirement. They remained in Calistoga for over 20 years before moving to Brentwood, Ca.

Mother of 8 children, survived by her 7 children Patrick (Bonnie) Janet (Tom, deceased) Susan (William) William (Dianne) Teresa ( Stephen) Mary, Nancy,12 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Norma was predeceased by her daughter Linda, in 2013. Over 50 years as a member of the Native Daughters of Golden West Calistoga Parlor 145.
