Perry, brother to Roger, Gregg, and Gary, was born to Renee and Blanche Fondacabe on January 14,
1955, in San Francisco, CA. He grew up on the peninsula and loved to share stories of his and his
brothers' antics with his neighbors on Hillman Ave.
Perry graduated from Carlmont High School in 1973 and loved running cross country and track all four
years in high school. After graduating from the College of San Mateo in 1977, he worked for several pest
control companies and eventually started his own business, PI Pest Control. Perry enjoyed visiting with
his customers and prided himself on delivering excellent customer service. Perry continued to work
throughout his cancer treatment and worked as a consultant when he could no longer be in the field.
Perry was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne's Knights of Columbus, the Sons of
American Legion, and Ligue Henri IV. Perry is a Past State Commander for the Sons of the American
Legion and is proud of his work to benefit veteran services.
Perry married Beverly in 2001; in 2002, Ian was born and completed their family. Perry loved spending
time with his large extended family camping, golfing, watching the Giants and the 49ers, taking his
Mustang out for Sunday drives, chatting about memories they had made, and making plans for their future
escapades. Perry worked endlessly to provide a wonderful life for his family. Some of the best times of
his life were spent coaching and watching Ian play baseball and volunteering with Ian with the St. Mary's
Theater Program.
Perry is survived by his wife Beverly; his son Ian; brothers Roger (Cindy), Gregg (Leesa), Mark, Paul
(Leysa), Robert (Tina); sisters Jane and Margaret Schultz (Rick); and many, many nieces, nephews, great
nieces, great nephews, friends, and cousins.
Perry was a deeply loved and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Perry was the best uncle
and adopted uncle to his many nieces and nephews, and they loved spending time with him, learning to
drive, playing games, hiking, and watching him enjoy their sporting, dance, and theater events.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at American Hospice, their devoted
friends and extended family, and all who helped during Perry's illness.
A Vigil will be held on Friday, October 11th, at 6:00 pm, and a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday,
October 12h, at 10:00 am. Both will take place at St. Anne Catholic Church in Byron. Instead of flowers,
the family has requested donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, St. Mary's School Theater Program,
or a charity of your choice.
