He was a lifelong Daytona 500 and NASCAR Cup Series racing supporter and attended many racing events before his health changed. Willis enjoyed watching his sport programs sipping on a glass of Jim Beam bourbon, in his favorite chair. This was the highlight of his retirement! He would entertain friends and family members from that chair, keeping full control of the remotes. He knew he was the perfect host!
Willis will be sorely missed, and all whom loved him dearly will never forget his tenacity, wit, charm, grace, undying love, and caring for all. Please keep him and Joyce in your prayer for she was his true love.
Willis was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life, and a firm understanding of what was important-the simplicity of living a life with those you love.
