Betty Jean "BJ" Pearce

PEARCE, BETTY JEAN "BJ" Harpe - Age 84 of Nashville, TN passed away on the 27th of June 2013. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Duke Pearce; sister, Ann Duckworth-Vredenburgh, AL; daughters, Lesa Pearce (Chuck), Gena Pearce Miller (Tim); grandsons, Mike Overton, Curtis Pearce Miller; nephews, Marty Duckworth, Scott Duckworth (Shelly); one great niece and three great nephews. She was a long time member of the Robert I. Moore Class of Brentwood United Methodist Church. In her lifetime, she was a homemaker, Girl Scout Leader, worked for Belmont Methodist Church, Forest Hills Methodist Church, and had 15 years of service with SVMIC. Visitation will be Monday, the 1st of July 2013 at ten o'clock in the morning with the service to follow at eleven o'clock at Brentwood United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Those serving as Active Pallbearers will include: Tom Cummings, Carl Wood, Bob McGowan, Sterling Overton, Tom Tyner, and Rob Burkhart. Honorary Pallbearers will consist of The Robert I. Moore Class, Mr. & Mrs. William C. Baggett, and Putt Cummings. Lasting memorials may be made to either Brentwood United Methodist Church, The Robert I. Moore Sunday School Class or Guardian Hospice of Cool Springs.
