If you knew Fred, you know he would NOT want a big hoop-de-doo made about him.
Lived with his wife, Thayer, daughter Marjorie, and step-son Charlie in Chicago until 1979, then moved to a catfish farm in rural Tenn, ultimately landing in Nashville, Tn.
Loved his animals – exotic birds (parrots to peacocks), goats, dogs, Lucy the mountain lion, and many more.
Enjoyed a good motorcycle ride (into his 80s).
Business owner, bargain hunter, always found the best parking spots.
Died in the middle of a fix-it project, surrounded by quality tools, purchased under retail value.
