

He is preceded in death by father Owen Medford Motley. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sissy Motley of Franklin, Tennessee. His children Kyle Motley and wife Atzimba Motley and their children Christian and Kyle Jr. and Katie Motley Dilley and husband Alex Dilley, his Mother, Jo Motley, and sister Teresa Motley, and niece Laura Ball.
Greg was the epitome of a family man and dedicated his life to working tirelessly to provide for his family, working as a loyal employee for Schneider Electric Co. for over 35 years. Greg was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and baseball collector, jazz and wine connoisseur, beach lover, art collector, and the most thoughtful of gift givers. He loved Christmas and time with his family more than anything in this World. Greg’s calming outward demeanor brought a sense of peace and calm to everyone he met. His tactful approach to life served as role model to his children and grandchildren. Greg will be remembered as a never faltering Father, husband, brother, son, colleague, and friend. Greg was never the loudest in the room, but his presence was one that left the biggest impression. Greg will be remembered for his fierce loyalty, generosity, and kindness that he so graciously gifted to his loved ones.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 13th, 2022 from 4:00-8:00pm at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN 37027. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 at 1:00pm at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
