Harriet Hunter – Age 89, passed away November 11, 2010. She was preceded in death by her sister, Connie and parents J.G & Lucille Rankin and survived by daughter Gail Hunter and grandson John McKinley Williams. Harriet graduated from University of Tennessee with a BS and University of Mississippi with a MA. She retired from Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education in 1983.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and services will be held Monday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Cheek House, First Presbyterian Church 4815 Franklin Road, Nashville.
Interment will be at Round Hill Cemetery, Belfast, TN.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society or First Presbyterian Church.
