John Charles White Jr., 58, of Franklin, passed away on February 9, 2023 after a three year battle with Glioblastoma. He was born in Nashville to John Charles, Sr. and Nancy (Talbert) White on August 5, 1964. He is preceded in death by his father John Charles White Sr. He is survived by his mother Nancy, spouse Stacy, brother Jeff, uncle Bill White, and children Michael, Kimberly, and Maddie (MJ) White.
John grew up in West Nashville and attended Hillwood High School where he ran cross country. He graduated from Aquinas College. After college, he worked as store manager and planogram analyst for Service Merchandise (15 years) and later at Dollar General (9 years). In between the long employment stints he was an enthusiastic stay at home dad for his three children. During his illness, he worked on the Bowie Nature park playground project in Fairview and saw it built in July of this year. John loved the Beatles, Cincinnati Reds baseball, playing softball, and hanging out with his dogs, Craig and Roxy. He had a wry sense of humor, was an optimistic and positive person, loving spouse, a good friend, and great father. He will be greatly missed.
