Oh my the world has darkened without the beam of Linda's smile.

 We had so many laughs and happy moments together for years when she lived in NJ and flew for Eastern. We chose to work trips together for months on end, she was always hard worker but always  was the perfect  party person too. We also played tennis together, and even went to a tennis camp for a week of instructions.

Linda was my confident and greatest supporter thru so many personal hardships. Even tho our relationship was diminished with her move to ATL, our infrequent phone conversations felt like we were never far away from each other.

I became friends with Linda during the 70's  while we lived in NJ.  Our friendship glued us together through life's many changes.  "Up North"  her Southern drawl, paired with  my English accent,  made us quite a formidable twosome.   We danced together to the tune of "Midnight Train to Georgia" .  We made Angel Wings   in NJ winter snow.   Now, Linda's Angel Wings are permanent,  encircling all who loved her.
Linda was undaunted by new challenges, had a zest for life with bags of energy, and a strong inner confidence.  She was thoughtful and kind to her friends and family, making time for everyone. 
Linda is just around the corner ... and All Is Well.

Linda was always a bright spot in the room.  Always a great smile and a laugh. That spirit came from how God made her and how she reflected her love for God.  You both were fortunate to share your life with each other.  I am sure you feel the loss in a big way.; but remember that God will sustain your through this , as he sustained Linda through her illness. We love you and wish we could see you . 
Read Psalms 23 and know you are not alone.

You, Shirley and i have known each other for many years and when you and Linda finally got married, we were thrilled for both of you.
Linda made a great difference for the better in your life and we believe you made a great difference for the better in her life.
The void that Linda leaves is huge but we believe you will be comforted by the many people who not only know you but also love you.

I was sad to receive the news of  Linda's passing.  She was a gracious lady!  We were colleagues at Eastern Air Lines and Delta Airlines as well as  Beauti Control.  She will be missed by many.  Prayers for Jerry and her family.

Isaiah 51:11-12 are the most comforting words I can think of when a loved one graduates to heaven.   It says, "Those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. 12 “I, even I, am he who comforts you."
I will always remember the way Linda could light up a room with her presence, her true kindness,  and sweet spirit.   I believe that the LORD is rejoicing over her coming into His presence.

Her gracious personality was such a magnet to so many that enjoyed her warm and thoughtful friendship. Jerry, we miss you at JFBC and would love to see you back in Marietta if that is where God leads you.

     We met Linda in our Sunday School class at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, and from our first conversation, with a big smile on her face, Linda was as welcoming and friendly as anyone could ever be. Linda was a friend to all she met!
      It will be such a wonderful reunion when our (aging 😊) class members reunite in Heaven!

Linda and Jerry were members of my Sunday School Class
at JFBC in Marietta, Ga.  She was a dear friend, always 
smiling with  such a sweet, caring spirit.   When she moved back 
to Tennessee, we kept in touch.   She never failed to ask
about my family, especially my grandchildren,  I appreciated 
her friendship and will miss her, always! Praise God we will meet
again!

Linda was much like a sister to me for many years. I will miss her great sense of humor and her ability to laugh even in a bad situation. She faced her illness with the best attitude and I will always admire that.  She was a wonderful Aunt to my two daughters, and they loved her dearly. We will all miss her terribly but rest assured that she is now with our Heavenly Father.

Linda was a blessed, beautiful person who was all smiles and cheer. Her laugh was infectious. Our Tennessee Tech friends will forever miss her presence.
