I worked with Lorie in Surgicare at Swedish American Hospital, in Rockford, IL  for many years. Lorie always talked about her family, Andrew & Ricki meant the world to her.  My thoughts & prayers are with your family. Lorie was a wonderful nurse, and I am sure she would want you to stay strong

Andy and Ricky, Not sure if you remember me, we were old neighbors of yours when you lived on Montmorency in Rockford. My son Kyle played baseball with you Andy.  So sorry about your Mom, she always welcomed us with a big smile when we stopped by.  I remember how she loved to re-paint and re-decorate. May you find comfort and peace in these days ahead.

I was so very sorry to see the notice in the Rockford,Il newspaper that Lorie had passed away. Know that I am praying for you, Andrew and Erica, and all the family at this difficult time.

My heart goes out to Lorie's family during this time. I worked with Lorie at NHC and will miss seeing her on her hall- caring for her 'kiddos' as she fondly called her patients. I'm sorry this happened and pray for healing for all.
