He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalyn; his sons Rob and Sean (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jack, Kate and Robert Edward McGuire II (expected); his mother, Aldine McGuire; brothers, James McGuire and Charles McGuire; sisters, Rosemary McGuire and Kathleen Nurt as well as many nieces and nephews.
A veteran of the United States Air Force and the Tennessee Army National Guard, Bob worked as a salesman for Fisher-Price Toys for 32 years. After his retirement from Fisher-Price he worked as a community resource officer for the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. Known for his wonderful sense of humor, great kindness and deep faith, Bob was a much beloved husband, father and friend and will be missed by all that knew him.
Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at ten o’ clock in the morning on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9100 Crockett Rd. Brentwood, Tennessee 37027.
