Alice Elizabeth Mattingly

Born October 5, 1967 in Brooksville, Florida and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph “Joe” Mattingly and Roxann Alice (Inman) Nix.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Oak Hill Hospital for 19 years.  She was a faithful servant to the Lord and a dedicated and active member of the Grace Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church.  She enjoyed painting, ceramics, crochet, and church functions.  She was a loving mother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph “Joe” Mattingly.  She is survived by her sons, Brandon P. Crum, Christopher Hayden Crum, and Matthew Aaron Crum, all of Brooksville, Florida; her mother and stepfather, Roxann Alice Nix and Dilmas Charlie Nix of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Rose Marie Mattingly of Brooksville, Florida; stepsister and brother-in-law, Stephanie & John Robinson of Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph W. & Shaina Mattingly of Perry, Florida; stepbrothers and sisters-in-law, Eric & Jeneen Nix of Crawfordville, Florida, Chuck & Minet Nix of Louisiana, and Michael White of Nebraska; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Friday, March 4, 2022 at Grace Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church, where Funeral Services begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Kevin Long and Clint Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.  A Luncheon will be served after the graveside service at Grace Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church.
