ORTEGA-EVANS, Alicia, age 51, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Key West, Florida and came to the area 15 years ago from Key West. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Community Church. She volunteered at Faith Christian Academy. She is survived by her husband: David Evans; daughters: Kayla and Kendall Evans; mother: Margaret Kerr, all of Spring Hill, FL; brother and sister-in-law: Manuel IV and Gina Ortega; sisters: Justine and Jacqueline Ortega; father and mother-in-law: David and Sondra Evans; 4 grandchildren: Shawn Gattuso; Mykah Vega, Raegen Vega and Kaidence Vega. Visitation for friends will be 4-6:00pm, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel with services beginning at 6:00pm with Pastor Robert Goodman officiating.
