Alyce D. Blake

BLAKE, Alyce  D., age 93, formerly of Brooksville, FL, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Masonic Home of Florida in St. Petersburg.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Brooksville in 1978 from Dearborn Heights, MI with her husband, Maxwell. She was employed as a medical assistant and accountant for many years before moving to Florida, and was a longtime member of  the  Faith Evangelical  Presbyterian Church of Brooksville. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Maxwell, and her brother, Bryce Draper. She is survived by her son, Tim Blake and his wife, Julie, of  Colorado; daughter,  Jacquelyn Westbay and her husband, Tim of Maple City, MI; sisters, Ruth Homan of  Spring Hill, FL; Gladys McCaffrey of Brooksville, FL, and  Marjorie Oostdyk of  Sun City, CA; She is also survived by four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
