He was born January 29, 1931 in East Alton, Illinois and came to the area two years ago from Jerseyville, Illinois. He was a United States Navy veteran and machinist in the manufacturing industry.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Sabra T. Vannoy; sons and daughters-in-law: Steven & Leslie Vannoy of Bunker Hill, Illinois, Gary & Carol Vannoy of Spring Hill, Florida, and Brett & Linda Vannoy of Beardstown, Illinois; brother and sister-in-law: Michael Ray & Annie Vannoy of Decatur, Illinois; five grandchildren: Rebecca, Casey, Sabra, Cody and Kyle; seven great-grandchildren.
