Cecil Allen Penn, Jr.

PENN JR., Cecil Allen, age 73, of Brooksville, FL died Monday, September 16, 2013 at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a long time member of the IBEW, the  United Auto Workers and the Lions club in western Pennsylvania. He was also a member of Brooksville Wesleyan Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and was a big fan of the Steelers. He was a loving family man who always put his family first. Preceded in death by his brother, Thomas;  he  is survived by his wife of 54 years: Sharon Penn; son and daughter-in-law: Cecil III and Diana Penn; Donald Duane Penn; daughter and son-in-law: Nancy Ann and Ken Vavrek; sister and brother-in-law: Ella Mae and David Sifferd of Punta Gorda, FL; 2 grandchildren: Jordan and Brandon Vavrek;  the joys of his life, his 5 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Aaron, Christopher, Jamie Lee and Evan. Visitation for friends will be from 10-11:00am, Thursday September 19, 2013 at the Brooksville Wesleyan Church where funeral services will begin at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brooksville Wesleyan Church.
