CHAPMAN, Charles Edward, age 84 of Spring Hill passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at HPH Hospice in Brooksville. Born in Detroit, MI he came to this area in 1998 from Plainwell, MI, was the owner & operator of a boat renovation company and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Charles was also a life time member of the DAV, won 40 gold medals in swimming with the YMCA and was a volunteer at the VA in Brooksville. Survivors include his wife: Shirley; sons & daughters-in-law: Brad Chapman, Robert & Vickie Chapman and Scott & Heather Chapman, all of Michigan and Michael & Anne Chapman of the Cayman Islands; daughters & son-in-law: Cathy Chapman of Clearwater, FL and Linda & Wayne Pleyer of Michigan; sister: JoAnne Epstein of Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
