He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the VFW Post 8713 of Brooksville and of the Baptist faith.Preceded in death by his wife, Betty.Survivors include his Step-son: Floyd Young; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Catherine & Ronald Newman of Plant City, FL and Linda & John Kubik of Brooksville; Brothers: Woodard & Pat Nixon of Tampa, FL and James & Alice Guida of The Villages, FL; Sister: Amy Goothmiller of Flippin, AK; 5 Grandchildren: Capt.
