DENNIS, C. Jim, age 88 of Spring Hill died Wednesday, Janury 5, 2011 at his home. Born in Sea Forth Ontario, Canada he came to this area 30 years ago. He was an electrician with the Local Union 58 in Detroit and served in the Canadian Army during WW II. He was a member of the Aripeka Elks and the Spring Hill Moose. He was predeceased by his parents: Zoel and Evelyn Dennis; wife: Madonna and sister: Geraldine Frasier. Survivors include his son: Ramond Dennis of Wesley Chapel; stepsons: Russ Lechel of Metamora, MI and Jim Lechel of NC; daughters: Carol Somerville of Centralia, Ontario, Canada, Dianne Nelson of Howell, MI, Brenda Shoner of Brighton, MI and Pamela Thomas of Fenton, MI; stepdaughters: Janice Quigley of Canton, MI and Debbie Burgess of MI; sister: Anna Brown of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted 2pm Friday, January 14, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.
