MANCHESTER, David H., 68 of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born in Springfield, MA and came to the area 8 years ago from Connecticut. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a machinist with Pratt-Whitney Aircraft and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, VFW Post 9236, Hernando Beach and was active with the Frankie Dee New York Orchestra. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Thursday January 19, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Brooksville. Interment with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
