Donna L. Harlan

HARLAN, Donna L., age 79 of Spring Hill, FL, died Friday, August 6, 2010 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL.  Born in Grove City, PA, she lived in Pennsylvania and Fredonia, NY before moving here in 1984.  The center of Donna’s life was her family, to whom she devoted 60 years of love and care.  At the time of her death, she was a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church in Spring Hill, FL. Throughout her life, she was an active participant in church activities, including Sunday School teacher, Bible Studies, and home visitations.  She was a passionate witness of the salvation message.  When she was younger, she volunteered for her children’s schools and the domestic violence hotline.  Donna is survived by her husband:  Sheridan H. Harlan, Jr.; sons:  Sheridan H. Harlan, III of Brooksville, FL and Matthew J. Harlan of Trinity, FL; daughters: Sharon L. Harlan of Tempe, AZ, Melanie H. St. George of Spring Hill, FL, and Linda D. Parks of Spring Hill, FL; brother: Martin Winger of  Brownsville, MI; Grandchildren:  Sarah, Erik, Lisa, Kyle, Jocelyn, Scott, Jenna, Kevin, Valerie, and Brianna; Great Grandchildren: Elyse and Caden.  Memorial service will be conducted at 1:00pm, Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice.
