He was born September 2, 1934 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and came to Brooksville 49 years ago from Clearwater, Florida. He served in the United States Air Force and was the owner and operator of Kowalski Nursery for over 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Katherine "Kat" Kowalski and his grandson, Shane. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Bridgett Scarbourgh, Michelle & Jimmy Stewart, and Sonya & Ernie Ellis, all of Brooksville, Florida; five grandchildren, Jesse Scarbourgh, Crystal Owens, Ernest Ellis, Samantha Ellis, and Lucas Ellis; eight great-grandchildren.
