Edward Dennis Tyrrell

He was born August 10, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Anne (Hoffman) Tyrrell. Edward served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked as an Owner and General Contractor in construction before retiring. Edward relocated to Florida in 2016 from Johnsburg, Illinois and was Episcopalian by faith. He was a IHSA high school football official for 28 years and was involved in the Lake Zurich Flames football organization and impacted the lives of many. 

Edward is preceded by his beloved wife, Susan Rose Tyrrell; his father, Edward Tyrrell and his mother, Anne Tyrrell.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Sean G. and Birgit Tyrrell of St. Petersburg, Florida; and his grandchildren: Kirsten and her husband, Nicholas Trossen, and Collin Tyrrell.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery, with Reverend Thom Beaverson officiating.
