He was born January 17, 1936 in Avon Park, Florida and has been a lifelong resident of Brooksville. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a retired firefighter-paramedic and a member of Gulf Ridge Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Patterson; son, Mark Patterson of Land O'Lakes, Florida; daughter, Michelle Patterson of LaGrange, Georgia; sisters, Sandra Walton of Brooksville, Florida and Wanda Piner of Dade City, Florida; grandchildren, Amanda Adkins and Wayne Patterson.
