He was born March 7, 1930 in White Plains, New York and came to this area 12 years ago from New Britain, Connecticut. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. His pride and joy were his three grandchildren. He was an avid woodworker and wood carver, was a machinist for Merritt Tool and Die and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gennifer Moreno of Wesley Chapel, Florida; brothers, Robert and Richard Moreno of New Britain, Connecticut; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Matthew, Amie; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at 10:30am, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
