Gary Stephen Sattur

He was born August 29, 1943 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and came to Spring Hill ten years ago from Whiting, New Jersey.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War Veteran serving as a Military Air Command Administration Specialist.  He worked in maintenance and was a guard for American Smelting and Refining Company.  He was a member and past Post Commander at the VFW and American Legion in New Jersey, a member of Gulfside Corvette Club in Spring Hill, and was Catholic by faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore W. Sattur Jr. and Greta A. Sattur (Lund) and his brother, Russell W. Sattur.  He is survived by his brother, Theodore "Ted" W. Sattur III.

A Visitation for family and friend will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.  A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00pm at Florida National Cemetery.
