GIANCARLO, Gerald S., age 85 of Spring Hill passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his home. Born in Chicago, IL he moved to Florida after his retirement as an executive for Sears where he worked for over 40 years. He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran and in 1947 married Kathleen Venn. He also enjoyed traveling and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen and second wife, Ellen. Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law: Barbara & Ken Kopald of Charlotte, NC; son & daughter-in-law: Gary S. & Jocelyn Giancarlo of Spring Hill; granddaughters & their spouses: Lindsey & Ryan Vanderbilt of Del Mar, CA and Kristen & Michael Siebert of St. Louis, MO; grandson & his wife: Kevin & Stacy Kopald of CT and great grandchildren: Dylan & Megan Siebert. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
