KEMP, Gunter J., age 92 of Spring Hill died Friday, January 14, 2011 at Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Essen, Germany he came to this area 16 years ago from Palm Harbor, FL. He was an engineer for General Motors and member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years. He is Catholic by faith. He was predeceased by his daughter: Nancy Miller and brother: Roy Kemp. He is survived by his wife of 72 years: Eloise; son: Ronald C. Kemp of Warren, MI; daughter: Kay Forton of Spring Hill; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A gathering of friends will take place from 3-4pm Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a memorial service will be held at 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
