He was born December 20, 1947 in Brooksville, Florida and has been a lifelong resident. He retired as Vice President at First Florida Bank. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brooksville.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie C. Combs of Brooksville, Florida; brother, Sam Griffin of Brooksville, Florida; sisters, Cheryl Griffin of Brooksville, Florida, Ann Palmer of Tallahassee, Florida, Cindy Griffin of Arvada, Colorado; two grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:00pm at Brooksville Cemetery, with Pastor Edd Denton officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at First United Methodist Church in Brooksville.
