Ira Mae Hughes

HUGHES, Ira Mae, age 92 of Spring Hill, Florida, died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home.  She moved to Spring Hill12 years ago from her native, Cordele, Georgia.  She retired after 32 years working as a housekeeper with Crisp Regional Hospital and she was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Hill.  Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law:  Rev. Calvin & Linda Dyer of Weeki Wachee, Florida; daughter:  Dicy M. Relaford of Spring Hill, Florida; brothers & sister-in-law:  Rev. Jerry, Sr. & Claudia Dyer of New York, Willie Dyer, Jr. of New York and William Dyer of Orlando, Florida; sister:  Ruby Howard of California; 9 grandchildren, including her heart, Tommie Relaford, Jr. and many great grandchildren.   Visitation for friends will be 9-10am, Friday, September 29, 2017 at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where funeral services will begin at 10:00am with Pastor Freddie Hinson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
