Jackie Naomi Lantz

She was born Jackie Naomi Windham on January 8, 1940 in Dale County, Alabama.  She graduated from Hardee County High School and was the PTA President in Holmes County, Florida from 1973-1975.  Jackie was formerly a longtime resident of Brooksville and Spring Hill, Florida.  She was a great cook, an avid gardener who could grow anything in or out of season, and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was Lutheran by faith.

She is survived by her sons, Kyle Whaley of Tallahassee, Florida, Rodney Whaley of Panama City, Florida, and Jeremy Carey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Jill Majors of Panama City, Florida; brother, Doyle Windham of Georgia; sisters, Diane Crunkelton of Avon Park, Florida and Regina Carnley of Vernon, Florida; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at First Christian Church, with Pastor Darin Canary officiating.  Burial will follow at Wauchula Cemetery.
