
EVANS, Jacqueline J., age 69 of Spring Hill, FL passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 15, 2015. She was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1946. As a small child she moved to Fairfield, CT, graduating from Andrew Warde High School in 1964. In the early 1980’s, she moved to Spring Hill from Fairfield with her family. While in Florida she worked for both the Winn-Dixie and Walmart Corporations. She was an accomplished artist throughout her life working in a variety of media. Her favorite pastime was working in her home studio on her acrylic and oil paintings. She especially loved impressionist art. Her favorite impressionist painter was Claude Monet. She is survived by her loving husband: William J. Evans and her devoted daughter: Michelle A. Evans as well as several other family members including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel from 2-3pm on Saturday, November 21, 2015. A brief memorial service honoring her memory will begin a 3pm. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home on Friday before 4pm or Saturday before noon.
