My Son JamesI’m not going to talk about my relationship with James, although it was very good.  But what I will say is when he found out he was going to be a father, I was the first to know and when he had hard decisions to make, he always called for advise.I was tough on James from time to time, wanting him to figure out life on his own, knowing I would not always be here for him.  I did not know he would not be here for me.While James was laying there in the hospital, I realized that just 3 days earlier, I was able to hug him and tell him I loved him, something many never get a chance to do.  So James now that your in the house of the Lord, you are far smarter than I and you can bet I’ll be calling on you for advise on my hard decisions in life.Love you Always -Dad

YOUR SMILE COULD ALWAYS BRIGHTEN ANYONES DAY, YOU WAS ALWAYS SUCH A SWEET BOY, AND YOUNG MAN. WE ARE SO VERY GLAD THAT WE GOT TO TALK TO YOU WHEN WE WAS DOWN AND TELL YOU HOW PROUD WE WAS OF YOU AND HOW MUCH WE LOVED YOU...WE DIDN`T WANT THAT TO BE THE LAST TIME, WE ARE HEART BROKE THAT YOU ARE GONE, YOU WILL BE MISSED SO MUCH BY US AND A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT LOVED YOU. James although I have only known you a few years you have impressed me greatly. I remember how you pulled me aside to speak with me when I started dating your dad (Scott) and a few months later when you made sure that I knew you approved but when hurricane Irma came through and you drove across the county and checked on us to make sure we were ok that was probably the truest example of the kind of man you were. You will be missed by all the people who love you so much. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life

             My oldest childJames it is hard for me to put into word's how proud I was of you to have turned into the man you did. You came into my life life when you were a year and 10 months old,it seem's like along time ago and it was but it was to short. We had a lot more things to do together,more fishing to do. I'm going to miss you dearly. I well cherish the time I spent with you,teaching you baseball,football being one of the coach's on your team's you played for,practicing at the house,showing you how to ride a motorcycle and 4 wheeler's. Fishing with you and your little brother Joshua, all the good times we shared together,like the time I told you and Josh to be quite and y'all keep making noise, so I threw you in spring lake that was the time I had to tell y'all to be quite. The vacation's we took as a family it was always so we could fish. This is going to be a hard journey, you and your brother's and sister's were suppost to lay me to rest, not the other way. I could write a book about the thing's we did as you grew into a man, I know we had a couple of year's that were lost but that does not change the fact that I loved you so much,and we got back on the right track AND were able to spend more time together before this time came. There is a lot more but t don't want to take up all the space so I'll close for now                Love always Dad ( Scott)

My beautiful first born son, I was so young when you came into my life, I was scared, I didn't know how to be a mother, for I was only 16 years old.  But, when I saw your handsome face, my new born child, it just clicked and I new I had a baby, a child I would love and need to take care of.. forever, god took you from me to soon, but I know you are in a better place..
