He was born October 9, 1929 in Akron, Ohio and came to Brooksville in 2004 after living in Citrus County since 1999. He was a United States Army veteran and retired after 43 years from Firestone Tire as a senior systems analyst. He enjoyed fine dining and exploring different restaurants.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Diana Morris of Brooksville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law: Dena & Charles Schwartz-Doty of Prosper, Texas; brother and sister-in-law: Joe & Emily Morris; three grandchildren: Kay-Lin and her husband Wesley Mahand, Tayelor (Taylor) Doty, and Bayelei Doty; and one great-grandchild: Xander Doty.
