SANTIAGO, Joaquin age 70 of Spring Hill, FL died Fri., May 28, 2010. Born in Puerto Rico, he came here 8 years ago from Bronx, NY. He was a retired limousine driver, working for Skyline Credit Ride of New York City and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL. Survivors include his wife: Ana; daughters: Nellie Santiago-Rivera of Bronx, NY, Frances Santiago Aquino of Brooksville, FL and Diana Santiago Romero of Spring Hill, FL; sister: Nelly Delia Santiago of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren: Taina Rivera, Aaron Jorge Romero and Joaquin Daniel Romero. Visitation for friends will be 1 – 3 & 5 – 7pm, Tue., June 1 and Wed., June 2, at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill, Florida, with a wake service to be conducted 6:00pm, Wed., June 2. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am, Thur., June 3, at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Edward Wal officiating. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
