CALTAGIRONE, Joseph P., 92, of Brooksville, FL died Friday, May 7, 2010 at home with his loving family. Born in Passaic, NJ June 23, 1917, he moved to Hollywood, FL in 1957 then to Brooksville, FL 17 years ago. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and a barber by trade and Catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Caltagirone and the mother of his children Dora Caltagirone. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws: Mary and Thomas Neiderhelman; Doreen and Bobby Crawford Sr.; Joyce Moore-Jennings and Bruce Jennings, all of Brooksville, FL; Lorraine Freed of New Smyrna, FL; Valerie and Michael Flammia of Daytona, FL; sons and daughter-in-laws: William and Suzie Caltagirone of Charlotte, NC; Johnny and Ella Caltagirone of Brooksville, FL; sisters: Vivian Belcaro and Mary Polito of Toms River, NJ; 30 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30am, Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Brooksville Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Santerelli officiating.
