Joseph Gerard Riley

He was born September 2, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York and came to Spring Hill 33 years ago.  He served in the United States Army and worked as a mail carrier retiring after more than 20 years with the United States Postal Service.  He was of the Christian faith.  

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph & Cessini Riley of Nashville, Tennessee, Brian Riley of Weeki Wachee, Florida and TJ & Jennifer Riley of Brooksville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law: Colleen & Jeff Grosos of Ponte Vedra, Florida; Margaret Riley of Weeki Wachee, FL, former wife of over 20 years and mother of their four children; brother James Riley of San Diego, California; sisters: Ellen Thomson and Joanie Riley, both of Palm Harbor, Florida; and one granddaughter: Caitlin Grosos. Inurnment with Military Honors will be at 10:00am, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
