She was born in Hartford City, Indiana on June 20, 1943. She was a beautician and a member of First Baptist Church in Montpelier, Indiana.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde; daughter and son-in-law, Faith and Lewis Merchant of Montpelier, Indiana; son, Blake Hudson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers Bob and Jack Zehmer; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jay Beaver of Montpelier, Indiana; three grandchildren, Terrence, Shea, and Chantel Merchant.
Interment will take place at IOOF Cemetery in Pennville, Indiana at a later date.
