Keith and I worked together for 43 years.  When he was first hired Sperry Univac only occupied a portion of the building, and space was limited.  Therefore, our desks fronts were butted against each other, and  we were forced to look at each other 8 hours a day, poor Keith having to see my face all day.

  It was fun times since Keith had a great sense of humor and an obtuse way of viewing things sometimes.   As the years went on, it was always easy to remember his birthday since it was the same as my daughters, and I would kid him, same as Mickey Mouse.  

Keith was always kind and an easy person to whom you could discuss any topic, work or personal.

My condolences to his wife and family and farewell to one of the good ones.


Our sincere condolences to Jan, Stephen and Scully family. We knew Keith for many years at Sperry/ Lockheed and always enjoyed his  humorous stories and "take on political life" at work.  Keith became my boss for the last 5 years of my working life at Lockheed and when I resigned in 1999 he was extremely supportive with my decision.   One of the best memories I have is after we moved to North Carolina and our sweet dog Solomon died, he wrote an extensive email about how hard it is to loose a fur baby family member since he had gone through it with his Samoyeds.  It was very comforting.

I worked with Keith for 23 years. Always within a close proximity and we talked often. He was always friendly, kind, reliable, helpful, knowledgeable, supportive, and had a really good sense of humor. Even in stressful situations. I greatly admired him for those qualities, and tried to model myself in his example. I will miss him. My deepest sympathy to his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Scully family. Keith was my first boss, although he did not hire me, he was stuck with me. He provided sage advice and wry humor over the next 38 years. I learned so much from him and I am deeply appreciative of his kindness and patience. I, too, recall going to Jacksonville for the UF/GA games and to Sebring for the annual race. Keith was always kind to invite me. I will always remember his sense of humor and great advice. May he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences for Keith's family. I worked with Keith for 42 years. When I was first hired on at Sperry Univac, fresh out of college, Keith gave me valuable tips to keep me from making "political" mistakes. Our roles changed over the years but I always considered him to be a close work associate. He had a great sense of humor and said outlandish things that made me laugh.  We were born in the same year with Keith being 3 months younger than me. Every year on my birthday he would remind me that I was older than him. My heart goes out to his wife Jan, his son Steven, and all his family and I pray they will find peace in knowing they will see him again someday.
