CARPENTER, Kenneth L., Sr., age 87 of Spring Hill passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Oak Hill Hospital. Born in Norwalk, CT he came to this area 4 years ago from Homasassa. He was a self employed carpenter, U.S. Army Veteran and member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Nancy; son: Kenneth L., Jr. of Ridgefield, CT; daughters & sons-in-law: Cynthia & Al Dunham of Eatham, MA and Elizabeth & John Pooler of Naples, FL; sister & brother-in-law: Carol & David Hill of MA; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A memorial service with Military Honors will take place 3:00pm Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
