She was an administrator with the National Urban League and a member of Delta Sigma Phi and Antioch Fellowship Baptist Church. She is survived by husband: Claude Smith of Spring Hill, FL; brother: Calvin Bruce; sisters: Barbara and Edwina Bruce, all of St. Petersburg, FL.
