She was born June 18, 1939 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Merrimack College. Lorraine was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. In addition to raising her family she worked in the accounting field. She loved her animals especially her dog, Pepper and kitty, Max.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Austin and son, John Zaremba. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Myers; son, Wayne Zaremba and wife his wife, Patty; stepchildren, Jim, Nancy, Michael, and Wendy; and several grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to Nature Coast Humane Society or HPH Hospice Spring Hill.
A memorial service for Lorraine will be held at Merritt Funeral Home (2 S Lemon Ave, Brookville, FL 34601) on Thursday, May 15th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, followed by a committal service at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513) starting at 11:30 AM.
