Lorraine "Laurie" J. Gapski

Born February 20, 1957,in Syracuse, New York, Laurie was the daughter of Charmaine Burnette and Henry Rodriguez. She married her husband, Ronald Gapski, in Oswego, New York on March 1, 1996.

Laurie was a licensed practical nurse, and she was known to be a nurse that really cared. She enjoyed watching NASCAR in her downtime. Laurie had a deep love for dogs and cared for three cavaliers. She would joke that she preferred the company of her fur babies.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Ronald Gapski and her parents, Charmaine Burnette and Henry Rodriguez.

Laurie is survived by her two children, Cassie Hart and Stephanie Parish; her sisters, Terry Grivois (Lorne) and Sannie Rodriguez; her brothers, David Vrooman (Jay), Steven Vrooman, and Aaron Vrooman; her grandchildren, Jacob Castle (Alessia), Alivia Castle, Lexus Carter (Christian), Chelsea Shorney, Matt Shorney (Kelsey), and Nicole Vazquez (Mark); several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; her previous husband, William R. Hart; as well as her beloved dogs, Snitch, Trixie and Harry, and cats, Ivan and Joey.
