Matthew Kane Anderson

He was born June 4, 1988, in New Port Richey, Florida and resided in Spring Hill for 33 years.  He was a 2006 graduate of Springstead High School, earned a degree as a Certified Diesel Mechanics from the University of Northwestern, Ohio in 2007, and was a Certified Diesel Mechanic for Fleet Tech PAW Trucking.  He enjoyed working on engines, video games, and exploring the great outdoors, especially the Weeki Wachee Preserve and river.  Above all else he loved spending time with his son, Levi.  Matthew was a loving son, brother, and dad and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son, Levi Anderson of Brooksville, Florida; father and mother, Steven D. & Joan M. Anderson of Spring Hill, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelsey & William Tolle of Oviedo, Florida and Brittany & Mitch Fischbach of Pine Mountain Valley, Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 11:00am, with Mr. Kent Heaton officiating.  Burial will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
